Hermaphroditus in Scripture.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the place with flesh instead thereof.
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from the man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And the man said: ‘This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’

This has been stated before in this blog. The two most important issues for humanity today are, the Earth’s very large population and  new technologies. Theses two issues are not real problems. They a public policy issues to be dealt with right now!

On a personal level,   there are two issues that must be dealt with right now.   Money and healthy sexuality.  Doctor Wilhelm  Reich would probably agree.

Unless the birth rate goes up, there will be millions of homeless and relatively clueless old people, handicapped and undereducated people dying in the streets. An increase in the birth rate is contra-intuitive to solve social problem. However, economically and socially, the United States can not afford a low birth rate. Education is the answer to these important issues.

Vocational training, and ancillary to vocational training is a good  vocabulary so that words will be used with more  precise meaning,  not just “babbling like some kind of fool.”   Yes, that is an allusion to the Tower of  Babel story and the moral lesson that all educated people should know.

No person  today  can call themselves educated unless they have a working knowledge of computer, and certainly with the United States  expansive economic and military engagement,  knowledge of world geography is imperative .  This must be done for America”s continued economic expansion and technological development.

The United States can not  afford an ignorant  naive  population and still compete economically and culturally with the rest of the world.

What has the above text got to do with Hermaphorrditus?  What follows is supposed to be taken allegorically. Sort of a  contemporary  fable on a Socratic lead. Connect the dots…Hypertext

As a grandmother might  say,   ” Put your thinking cap on.”
