IGNORANCE AS A BADGE OF HONOR: ONG’S HAT. Satan  could  NOT  exist  without  Christian  theological  development.

Manichaeism: A Christian Heresy? “Manichaeism (/ˈmænɨkɪzəm/;[1] in Modern Persian آیین مانی Āyin e Māni; Chinese: ; pinyin: Jiào) was a major religion that was founded by the Iranian[2] prophet Mani (in Persian: مانی, Syriac: ܡܐܢܝ , Latin: Manichaeus or Manes; c. 216–276 AD) in the Sasanian Empire.[3][4]

Manichaeism taught an elaborate dualistic cosmology describing the struggle between a good, spiritual world of light, and an evil, material world of darkness. Through an ongoing process which takes place in human history, light is gradually removed from the world of matter and returned to the world of light whence it came…NOW, a digression. “Remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have set.” Is written, that proverb could be considered an “attack” against all of MODERNITY !” DEATH and DYING should be NO real problem for any sophisticated adult. Because, if an adult you have faced life honestly as best you can, and seen death, “Up-Front-And-CLOSE” WE ALL WILL DIE. The reason for our death, the context of our death is what according to some ancient traditions and hidden knowledge is what is important. ->

Mani believed that the teachings of Buddha, Zoroaster, and Jesus were incomplete, and that his revelations were for the entire world, calling his teachings various cymatic angles of light, the “Religion of Light.”[11] Manichaean writings indicate that Mani received revelations when he was 12 and again when he was 24, and over this time period he grew dissatisfied with the Elcesaite sect he was born into.[15] Mani began preaching at an early age and was possibly influenced by contemporary Babylonian-Aramaic movements such as Mandaeanism, and Aramaic translations of Jewish apocalyptic writings similar to those found at Qumran (such as the book of Enoch literature), and by the Syriac dualist-gnostic writer Bardaisan (who lived a generation before Mani). With the discovery of the Mani-Codex, it also became clear that he was raised in a Jewish-Christian baptism sect, the Elcesaites, and was influenced by their writings as well. According to biographies preserved by Ibn al-Nadim and the Persian polymath al-Biruni, he allegedly received a revelation as a youth from a spirit, whom he would later call his Twin (Aramaic Tauma (תאומא), from which is also derived the name of the apostle Thomas, the “twin”), his Syzygos (Greek for “partner”, in the Cologne Mani-Codex), his Double, his Protective Angel or Divine Self. It taught him truths which he developed into a religion. His divine Twin or true Self brought Mani to Self-realization. He claimed to be the Paraclete of the Truth, as promised in the New Testament.

Manichaeism’s views on Jesus are described by historians:

Jesus in Manichaeism possessed three separate identities: (1) Jesus the Luminous, (2) Jesus the Messiah and (3) Jesus patibilis (the suffering Jesus). (1) As Jesus the Luminous… his primary role was as supreme revealer and guide and it was he who woke Adam from his slumber and revealed to him the divine origins of his soul and its painful captivity by the body and mixture with matter. Jesus the Messiah was a historical being who was the prophet of the Jews and the forerunner of Mani. However, the Manicheans believed he was wholly divine. He never experienced human birth as notions of physical conception and birth filled the Manichaeans with horror and the Christian doctrine of virgin birth was regarded as equally obscene. Since he was the light of the world, where was this light, they asked, when he was in the womb of the Virgin? (2) Jesus the Messiah was truly born at his baptism as it was on that occasion that the Father openly acknowledged his sonship. The suffering, death and resurrection of this Jesus were in appearance only as they had no salvific value but were an exemplum of the suffering and eventual deliverance of the human soul and a prefiguration of Mani’s own martyrdom. (3) The pain suffered by the imprisoned Light-Particles in the whole of the visible universe, on the other hand, was real and immanent. This was symbolized by the mystic placing of the Cross whereby the wounds of the passion of our souls are set forth. On this mystical Cross of Light was suspended the Suffering Jesus (Jesus patibilis) who was the life and salvation of Man. This mystica cruxificio was present in every tree, herb, fruit, vegetable and even stones and the soil. This constant and universal suffering of the captive soul is exquisitely expressed in one of the Coptic Manichaean psalms.[16]

Historians also note that Mani declared himself to be an “apostle of Jesus Christ”[17] Manichaean tradition is also noted to have claimed that Mani was the reincarnation of different religious figures from Buddha, Lord Krishna, Zoroaster, and Jesus.”…From Wikipedia: SEE link….. ”

The roots of Zoroastrianism are thought to have emerged from a common prehistoric Indo-Iranian religious system dating back to the early 2nd millennium BCE.[27] Although older, Zoroastrianism only enters recorded history in the mid-5th century BCE. HerodotusThe Histories (completed c. 440 BCE) includes a description of Greater Iranian society with what may be recognizably Zoroastrian features, including exposure of the dead.

The Histories is a primary source of information on the early period of the Achaemenid era (648–330 BCE), in particular with respect to the role of the Magi. According to Herodotus i.101, the Magi were the sixth tribe of the Medians (until the unification of the Persian empire under Cyrus the Great, all Iranians were referred to as “Mede” or “Mada” by the peoples of the Ancient World), who appear to have been the priestly caste of the Mesopotamian-influenced branch of Zoroastrianism today known as Zurvanism, and who wielded considerable influence at the courts of the Median emperors…Following the unification of the Median and Persian empires in 550 BCE, Cyrus the Great and, later, his son Cambyses II curtailed the powers of the Magi after they had attempted to sow dissent following their loss of influence. In 522 BCE, the Magi revolted and set up a rival claimant to the throne. The usurper, pretending to be Cyrus’ younger son Smerdis, took power shortly thereafter.[28] Owing to the despotic rule of Cambyses and his long absence in Egypt, “the whole people, Persians, Medes and all the other nations” acknowledged the usurper, especially as he granted a remission of taxes for three years (Herodotus iii. 68)…Due to its ties to the Christian Roman Empire, Persia’s arch-rival since Parthian times, the Sassanids were suspicious of Roman Christianity, and after the reign Constantine the Great sometimes persecuted it.[30] The Sassanid authority clashed with their Armenian subjects in the Battle of Avarayr (451 CE), making them officially break with the Roman Church. But the Sassanids tolerated or even sometimes favored the Christianity of the Persian Church. The acceptance of Christianity in Georgia (Caucasian Iberia) saw the Zoroastrian religion there slowly but surely decline,[31] but as late the 5th century AD it was still widely practised as something like a second established religion.[32][33]….

Zoroastrianism is often compared with the Manichaeism. Nominally an Iranian religion, it has its origins in the Middle-Eastern Gnosticism. Superficially such a comparison seem apt, as both are dualistic and Manichaeism adopted many of the Yazatas for its own pantheon. Gherardo Gnoli, in The Encyclopaedia of Religion, says that “we can assert that Manichaeism has its roots in the Iranian religious tradition and that its relationship to Mazdaism, or Zoroastrianism, is more or less like that of Christianity to Judaism”.[57]

They are however quite different.[58] Manichaeism equated evil with matter and good with spirit, and was therefore particularly suitable as a doctrinal basis for every form of asceticism and many forms of mysticism. Zoroastrianism, on the other hand, rejects every form of asceticism, has no dualism of matter and spirit (only of good and evil), and sees the spiritual world as not very different from the natural one (the word “paradise”, or pairi.daeza, applies equally to both.)

Manichaeism’s basic doctrine was that the world and all corporeal bodies were constructed from the substance of Satan, an idea that is fundamentally at odds with the Zoroastrian notion of a world that was created by God and that is all good, and any corruption of it is an effect of the bad. From what may be inferred from many Manichean texts and a few Zoroastrian sources[citation needed], the adherents of the two religions (or at least their respective priesthoods) despised each other intensely….” From Wikipedia, SEE link:  “The original Hebrew term satan is a noun from a verb meaning primarily “to obstruct, oppose”, as it is found in Numbers 22:22, 1 Samuel 29:4, Psalms 109:6.[6] Ha-Satan is traditionally translated as “the accuser” or “the adversary”. The definite article ha- (English: “the”) is used to show that this is a title bestowed on a being, versus the name of a being. Thus, this being would be referred to as “the satan”.[7]…” So, as a “SLANDERER,” and  “ADVERSARY,” and as a general description and “TITLE” any person who is in opposition, or an “OBSTRUCTIONIST” such as the NEO-CONS as adversary to liberal ideas and progressive thought can be called THE GREAT SATAN. -> -ONG’S HAT is a real place deep in the “Pine Barrens” of New Jersey. Pine Barrens of New Jersey is the same place where the supposed “Jersey Devil” has been seen. Spooky scary place, NO ? NO ! The Pine Barrens is now well developed, “Strip-Shopping-Centers,” Petrel-Stations, Housing Estates, and now Banks, isolate in woodland spots as if waiting for some land developers to come along and build a Giant Shopping Mall.  However, if you insist on believing in the super-natural, then at certain times of day or night, almost any place on Planet Earth will transport you to “NEVER-NEVER-LAND.” That is because according to the story if you are “Young-OF-Heart” and really, really, wish real, real hard the  Fairy “Tinker Bell” will NOT die and you will be transported to “Fairyland” or Narnia. “Whatever  !” Ha ! Ha ! Cynical me, making one big joke out of all of this, but sarcasm aside, various cymatic angles of light “the denser your ‘Astral Body'” is, the more difficult it is to “fly.” Ha ! Ha ! Except if you are a “hybrid” and part fairy…

“It is typically described as being the offspring of a fairy, troll, elf or other legendary creature that has been secretly left in the place of a human child. Sometimes the term is also used to refer to the child who was taken. The apparent changeling could also be a stock or fetch, an enchanted piece of wood that would soon appear to grow sick and die. The theme of the swapped child is common among medieval literature and reflects concern over infants thought to be afflicted with unexplained diseases, disorders, or developmental disabilities.

A human child might be taken due to many factors: to act as a servant, the love of a human child, or malice.[1] Most often it was thought that fairies exchanged the children. Some Norwegian tales tell that the change was made to prevent inbreeding: to give trolls and humans new blood, humans were given children with enormous strength as a reward.[citation needed] In some rare cases, the very elderly of the Fairy people would be exchanged in the place of a human baby, and then the old fairy could live in comfort, being coddled by its human parents.[2]…” SEE link:  Yes, I’m being cloy as puke showing the following examples. Example one: “…Savoy Theatre was the first theatre in the world to be lit entirely by electricity, and Iolanthe was the first show to open at the theatre after it was electrfied; this made such special effects as sparkling fairy wands possible for the first time.[1][2] The principal fairies’ heads were also illuminated with wreaths of small illuminated stars.[3]

Gilbert had targeted the aristocracy for satiric treatment before; in this “fairy opera“, the House of Lords is lampooned as a bastion of the ineffective, privileged and dim-witted. The political party system and other institutions also come in for a dose of satire. Among many potshots that Gilbert takes at lawyers in this opera, the Lord Chancellor sings that he will “work on a new and original plan” that the rule (which holds true in other professions, such as the military, the church and even the stage) that diligence, honesty, honour, and merit should lead to promotion “might apply to the bar”. Throughout Iolanthe, however, both author and composer managed to couch the criticism among such bouncy, amiable absurdities that it is all received as good humour. In fact, Gilbert later refused to allow quotes from the piece to be used as part of the campaign to diminish the powers of the House of Lords.[4]

Summoned by the Fairy Queen (“Iolanthe! From thy dark exile thou art summoned”), Iolanthe rises from the frog-infested stream that has been her home in exile. The Queen, unable to bear punishing her any longer, pardons Iolanthe, and she is warmly greeted by the other fairies. Iolanthe tells her sisters that she has a son, Strephon, noting that he’s a fairy down to the waist, but his legs are mortal…” (Don’t shit on yourself  !!! ) This old opera is “sarcastic-to-the-point,” and trying to “lift-the-skirt” without being hurtful or mean spirited. As a spoof and “Social Commentary” this opera is a satire and suppose to be silly, mocking socially hidden-truth. SEE link…   Yes, I’m being cloy, as shown in the following examples. Manichaeism: A Christian Heresy? Well, as presented in this post with as much historical information that Wikipedia has relevant, yes many of the basic ideas in Christian Theology are a direct result of Manichaeism and Zoroastrianism. What has all this religious history have to do with “IGNORANCE AS A BADGE OF HONOR: ONG’S HAT ?” ONG’S HAT apparently is a joke, a “hoax.” NOW-A-DAYS,” in contemporary history only the willfully “IGNORANT,” the gullible and naïve; only people who want to be “tricked” and deceived believe information without checking for truthfulness and doing their own honest research. In the Pine Forest winter, autumn, spring, morning, noon or night various cymatic angles of light change “density-of-reality.” So, the story goes. NO, “Jersey Devil.”

“While mainstream Judaism contains no overt concept of a devil, Christianity and Islam have variously regarded the Devil as a rebellious fallen angel or jinni that tempts humans to sin, if not committing evil deeds himself. In these religions – particularly during periods of division or external threat – the Devil has assumed more of a dualistic status commonly associated with heretics, infidels, and other unbelievers. As such, the Devil is seen as an allegory that represents a crisis of faith, individualism, free will, wisdom and enlightenment.,,” See link:
